Engela Duvenage

Engela Duvenage is a South African freelance science writer who works in both Afrikaans and English. She specializes in "translating" South African research findings into popular articles, press releases, columns or profile articles for newspapers, magazines, national and international websites as well as institutional publications. She is a regular contributor to Nature Africa. Duvenage is the author of a children's story book about more than 100 real-life scientists, engineers and inventors who all have South African links. Inventors, Bright Minds and Other Science Heroes of South Africa (Penguin) was published in 2021, after first being published in Afrikaans.
